The access cover is both odor- and waterproof and is securely screwed to the frame. A lifting key set is included as standard, allowing the cover to be opened easily and safely.
The frame and cover are made of extruded aluminum profile.

The access cover is fitted with a round EPDM gasket on the bottom and a T-rubber gasket on the outer frame. This combination reliably prevents the ingress of dirt, dust, and moisture. The elastic effect of the gaskets compensates for tension between the frame and cover - for a durable, warp-free construction.
The T-rubber gasket serves three functions:
- It prevents dirt between the cover and frame.
- It provides an additional odor barrier.
- It compensates for tension between the frame and cover.
