The access cover is gas-, odour- and water-tight and is securely screwed to the frame. A lifting-key set is included as standard, allowing the cover to be opened easily and safely.

Frame and cover are made of extruded aluminium profile.

Application: Indoor and outdoor use.

Installation height: 80 mm

3 mm galvanized steel plate.
On request also available with a 3 mm aluminium bottom plate.

The access cover is equipped at the base with two seals and laterally with a T-rubber seal in the outer frame. This combination reliably prevents the ingress of dirt, dust, moisture and gas. The elastic effect of the seals compensates for stresses between the frame and the cover - ensuring a durable, distortion-free construction.

The T-rubber seal performs three functions:

It prevents dirt between the cover and the frame.
It provides an additional odour and gas barrier.
It compensates for stresses between the frame and the cover.

Differences between DCP and DCL access covers

Both models - DCP and DCL - have a very similar design and many identical features. Nevertheless, there are some technical differences that can be decisive when selecting the right model:

Number of seals: DCP is equipped with a total of three seals - two at the base and a T-rubber seal in the outer frame. DCL has a round EPDM seal at the base and a T-rubber seal.
Gas-tightness: DCP is additionally gas-tight, whereas for DCL odour and water tightness is specified.
Base plate: On DCP, the base plate is 3 mm galvanized steel as standard; a 3 mm aluminium plate is also available as an option. On DCL, the steel plate is standard.
Sealing concept: With two lower seals and the additional gas barrier, DCP provides enhanced protection against the ingress of gases, dirt and moisture.

In all other technical characteristics - such as material, area of application, installation height and operation with lifting keys - both models are identical.
